Machined-From-Solid (MFS) Technology
Solitz turbochargers are fitted with Machined-From-Solid (MFS) compressor wheels, designed for highly demanding applications. Using aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, MFS impellers are machined using high-speed 5-axis CNC machines to achieve intricate aerodynamic impeller blade profile and finish. Unlike traditional cast aluminum impellers, MFS impellers are forged from high-quality aluminum, providing superior performance and longevity.
Solitz uses advanced modeling techniques offered by the latest CAD/CAM software, introducing numerous improvements in aerodynamics and physical structure of the impellers. At Solitz where all MFS impellers are produced and directly assembled into a cartridge, specialized machining techniques ensures that our MFS impellers are highly precise and concentric.
